A10 world series teases!

Well, the launch time has come and gone, A10 world series has revealed that the /\ in its logo is an upside down v, signalling V10 engines. But whose!? More tomorrow according to the site – wonder what is to come…

It’s probably just A1 with a slight name change, designed
to keep one step ahead of their creditors who are still owed
$50,000,000, and all the legal actions, and unpaid wages etc. Who’d
touch anything to do with A1 ? Only fools who want to be parted
    from their money.

I’m inclined to agree. Is suppose it could also be people who were linked to one or more A1GP teams in the past (see previous post), rather than to the entity which brought about the demise of the whole pack of cards. There was that auction of all the A1GP assets, so it could in theory be anyone. As I say though, inclined to agree that some of the ‘usual suspects’ would be likely to show up.

I certainly wouldn’t put any of my money into it!! Mind you it always amazes me that superleague keeps going.

This is A2GP. The people who allegedly crashed A1GP with
about US$165million of debt and walked away from the limited
liability company – with no debts to pay – seem to have got a
“second bite of the cherry”. So, a new shiny logo – but will it be
A2GP and the same business model i.e. false promises of payments,
no invoices paid and abuse as much credit out of unknowing
companies and freelancers for as long as you can ! A10 World Series
    – dig deep enough and there will be a story behind the people
running this “totally brand new series” ! All the best – hope I am
    proven wrong

Thanks Del, I went to the first day of practice for the first race of A1GP at Brands and all was UAE backed optimism. I think the writing was on the wall as soon as that sort of backing went away.

The old ‘limited company starts again in a new guise’ trick has sadly been played many many times in racing and elsewhere, and will be again. Wasn’t there some difference between the operating company and the rights holder? One was OK whilst the other went pop.

Anyway, have a look at my earlier post, time will tell I guess.

      Thanks for visiting!

I waited patiently for the countdown to end, and all they
announced was that the announcement was the next day. Thanks for
that, A10! Anyway, if it ias just A1GP Part 2: This Time It’s
Personal, their rebrand is as subtle as a flying bag of
    spanners.

Yeah it’s none too suble is it. The worrying words on their site are “Welcome to an exciting new concept in International Motorsport.” I think the operative word there is ‘concept’!

      Thanks for visiting.

Do you think – when A10 World Series finally reveal all the little pieces of the flag on their home page – the last piece of the jigsaw will be Tony Tex in a mask with a SWAG bag ! LOL !
